What is your favorite form of physical exercise?
Nothing clears my mind quite like climbing — though that might be because there’s no room left to think about anything except not falling.
There’s this rush of achievement when you finally reach the top of a wall or tree that pushed your limits. It’s not something you can measure – it’s a mix of relief, pride and quiet awe that you actually did it.
Climbing is a full-body workout in every sense. Your arms, fingers, legs, abs and back will all feel it – but so will your brain. You’re constantly decoding the best way to move, mapping out the holds like pieces of a puzzle before you even touch the wall.
It’s physical problem-solving with a view – and that’s why climbing will always be my favourite way to move.
